At ARRAY, we teamed up with Reebok to host an Oscar weekend celebration dedicated to the influential role of creative women in film. The event featured a quartet of free screenings of some of 2020’s most impactful films directed by women. The daylong gathering culminated with a panel discussion on parity, persistence and passion hosted by Dani Kwateng-Clark with Nisha Ganatra, Kasi Lemmons, Stella Meghie and MJ Rodriguez.
At WanderLuxxe, I coordinated yearly parties at Sundance, ensuring unforgettable experiences for attendees. Proudly presented by Variety, the WanderLuxxe House at Sundance 2018 was the epicenter of exclusive events for acclaimed films such as Augustine Frizzell’s “Never Goin’ Back” starring Cami Morrone, Kyle Mooney, and Maia Mitchell, as well as "Mandy" featuring Nicolas Cage, Andrea Riseborough, and Elijah Wood. The series also boasted a night of private performances by Common and surprise special guests, cementing our reputation as leaders in immersive cinematic experiences.
I assisted with the coordination of Wanderluxxe's Pre-Emmy Diversity Luncheon at Craig's Restaurant in West Hollywood, California, on Sept. 21, 2019.
Amid the Covid-19 pandemic, I orchestrated an enlightening all-day virtual seminar featuring a myriad of workshops. Our aim was to empower entrepreneurs with the tools and insights necessary to navigate these uncertain times, guiding them towards strategic pivots and fostering resilience in the face of adversity.
At WanderLuxxe, we partnered with Force Fitness for a cocktail celebration to honor diversity in entertainment and fete various notable names, including Taraji P. Henson, Meagan Good, Sanaa Lathan and others.
I created, edited, and filmed this promo video for UVA cheer tryouts while also balancing my role as an athlete on the team.
LIGHT HOUSE STUDIO
At Light House Studio, a non-profit organization committed to collaborative youth filmmaking, I served as a mentor, guiding young filmmakers in the production and showcasing of genre-specific short films. My role involved instructing students in various technical aspects of filmmaking, including stop-motion animation, camera operation, video editing, and special effects.
