Development · Production · Documentary, Unscripted & Scripted
I develop nonfiction and scripted series, and I produce them in the field.
I develop and produce from the first idea through the shoot. Development and production are usually two different people. I’m both, which is the difference between a pitch and a plan.
What I do
Development consulting, field producing, packaging, and fundraising strategy.
I take projects from the first conversation about what they actually are through the deck, the bible and the sizzle, into the field, and, where the money is philanthropic rather than commercial, through the grant strategy that funds them. Because I do both, I can tell a buyer not just what a project could be, but whether it can actually be made, at what cost, and with what access. Below are titles I’ve worked on and materials I built.

Where I've worked and who I've worked with
On staff, then on my own.

The work behind the work
Before a show exists, there is a deck.
Over a hundred pitch decks, series bibles, sizzles and one-pagers, each built to make a specific argument to a specific buyer. The deck is where a project stops being an idea and becomes something a commissioner can say yes to, which is why it is the part of the job I care most about getting right.

About
Eight years. A hundred and twenty projects.
I trained at USC's Peter Stark Producing Program and spent eight years in development on staff, at Boardwalk Pictures, Hello Sunshine, JuVee and ARRAY, before running development and production at The Stagecoach Group as Head of Development and Executive Producer. Since 2024 I have run Entera Media, a boutique development and production practice in premium nonfiction, documentary and unscripted, working across development consulting, field producing, packaging, and fundraising and grant strategy for a multi-client slate.
Virginia and Los Angeles. English and Spanish.
